Booking Your Travel
On-site registration begins at 12 p.m. EST on Friday, February 21. The Welcome Dinner will begin at 5 p.m. EST. If you are interested in attending the headquarters tour, you will need to arrive early! Collegiate Growth Academy will conclude at noon EST on Sunday, February 23. We ask that all attendees stay until the conclusion of Collegiate Growth Academy and book any travel after 2 p.m. EST on Sunday, February 23. It is strongly recommended that travel be booked before you have completed your registration so you can accurately fill out the registration form.
Hotel Information
Hotel check-in time is 3 p.m. EST, and check-out time is 11 a.m. EST. Attendees arriving earlier than 3 p.m. may leave their bags with the front desk or check in early, should rooms become available.
Indianapolis Marriot Downtown

Lodging arrangements will be managed by headquarters staff. The VP recruitment, VP recruitment information, and VP public relations and marketing from each chapter will be assigned to one room together. Chapters sending additional collegiate members of the recruitment team will have the option to stay all in one room. If members prefer to not all stay in a room together, the additional room(s) will be at the chapter's expense. Please note, there is a maximum of four guests per room. As a reminder, the chapter will be responsible for covering additional participants’ travel and lodging, and the chapter will be billed an additional $275 per person to cover meals. Please check with your chapter’s VP finance if the chapter has funds to cover additional attendees.
Attendees who need to travel to Indianapolis Thursday should indicate the early arrival on their registration. Please
email the growth team if you need accommodations for Thursday night. Cost of the additional night will be the responsibility of the chapter.
Transportation
Flying
All attendees are responsible for booking their own travel arrangements. This includes travel to Indianapolis and, if flying, transportation to and from the hotel. Chapters have budgeted for three members to attend and should cover the cost associated with travel. Travel should be coded to Alpha Chi Omega National Education, account number 7300 in Billhighway.
Travel costs for any additional collegiate recruitment team members are the responsibility of the chapter. Please be sure to make flight reservations as early as possible to reduce cost and ensure that your chapter leaders are prepared to attend. All participants should plan to arrive at the hotel no later than 4 p.m. EST on Friday evening. Return flights may depart any time after 2 p.m. EST on Sunday. If you are interested in attending the optional the headquarters tour, you will need to arrive early! The Indianapolis Marriot Downtown is approximately 30 minutes from the Indianapolis International Airport. Transportation options from the airport to the hotel property include taxis, Uber and Lyft.
We are pleased to work with Southwest Airlines as our preferred carrier for your travel to Collegiate Growth Academy. Eligible Collegiate Growth Academy travelers can take advantage of discounted eligible fares when traveling to/from Indianapolis.
Access special rates for your travel to Collegiate Growth Academy. If you do not currently participate in Southwest Airlines’ Rapid Rewards Program, you can find information on
their website. Discounts on eligible fares are for reservations booked 11/25/2024 through 2/17/2025 for travel 2/17/2025 through 2/25/2025.
Driving
If you are driving to the Indianapolis Marriot Downtown, driving directions are available through your favorite mapping program or on the hotel's website.
Self-parking at the hotel is located off Missouri St. from Washington St. and Maryland St. A discounted overnight rate of $46.75 per day is available for self-parking. Please inform the front desk staff upon check-in that you parked in the garage.
Attire
Friday: Casual – We understand you are traveling on Friday; however, remember you are representing your chapter and Alpha Chi Omega.
Saturday: Badge Attire – Think about what you would wear to chapter. Dress to impress with slacks, skirts, or dresses.
Sunday: Letter Day – Wear your Alpha Chi Omega letters and represent our organization with pride. Nice jeans are totally appropriate!
Don’t forget! Hotels are notorious for being a little chilly so be sure to pack a sweater. Please remember you are representing your chapter, college/university and Alpha Chi Omega.
Other Items to Pack
Don’t forget to bring a notebook and writing utensils. There will be so many great ideas that you won’t want to forget. It might not be a bad idea to bring granola bars, snacks and a reusable water bottle.
Last but not least, remember to bring spending money to purchase items from our on-site vendors.
