Will I be reimbursed for my flights if I do not use a Billhighway pre-paid card?

It is recommended that participants work with their VP finance to utilize a chapter Billhighway pre-paid card when booking travel arrangements. If participants are not able to utilize a pre-paid card, then they will be reimbursed by the chapter. Chapters have budgeted for three members to attend and should cover the cost associated with travel. Travel should be coded to Alpha Chi Omega National Education, account number 7300 in Billhighway. 

What are the firesides being held on Friday night?

Staff will be reaching out to chapters individually prior to Collegiate Growth Academy to schedule time with officers to chat through different areas of focus for the chapter.  

Will there be vendors at the event to purchase merchandise?

Yes, officially licensed Alpha Chi Omega vendors will be at Collegiate Growth Academy. You may find your new favorite Alpha Chi item! Stay tuned to find out which companies will be on-site.

What should I bring?

Please bring great ideas, energy and excitement! Of course, you should also bring a water bottle, snacks, writing utensils and paper to take great notes.

What should I plan to wear?

Winter in Indiana can be unpredictable. We advise checking weather conditions and packing a coat and gloves. You'll want to wear layers too as the hotel conference rooms may run cool. Friday is casual. Saturday is business casual/badge attire (as though you would be attending a formal chapter meeting). Sunday is letters/university day (wear your favorite letters or university attire). When packing, remember you are representing Alpha Chi Omega.

What does my registration fee cover?

Registration fees cover the costs for Friday – Sunday hotel accommodations, some meals and educational materials. Meals included are dinner on Friday; breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday; and breakfast on Sunday. All other meals are the responsibility of the participant. Each chapter will be billed for its registration fee on a regular monthly statement from headquarters. Registration is $199 for each of the first three attendees and $275 for each additional attendee. 

I need to cancel my registration. What do I do?

To cancel or transfer your registration, please contact the growth team. Registration cancellations are not eligible for a refund. Each collegiate chapter will be charged the $199 or $275 registration fee per chapter representative. Alpha Chi Omega is not responsible for weather- or travel-related problems impacting attendance and will not refund registrations fees related to these issues.

Can I send someone else in my place? 

Substitutions for Collegiate Growth Academy may be made until January 31, 2025, with no additional fees. Substitution requests should be emailed to the growth team.

Alpha Chi Omega will work with collegiate chapters to determine the best substitute.

What time does Collegiate Growth Academy start and end each day?

Collegiate Growth Academy will start on Friday, February 21 with dinner at 5 p.m. EST. Collegiate Growth Academy will end Sunday, February 23 at noon EST. Attendees should book travel to ensure arrival by 4 p.m. EST on Friday and depart after 2 p.m. EST on Sunday.

Why are advisors not attending?

Due to inviting three collegiate officers and being mindful of chapter budgets, advisors will not have the opportunity to attend. Don’t worry though – important content and new information will be distributed to recruitment, recruitment information, and PR and marketing advisors after Collegiate Growth Academy!
