I TRIED TO REGISTER, BUT IT IS ASKING ME TO SIGN IN. WHAT SHOULD I DO NEXT?

Your registration username and password are the same username and password you use to log into My Alpha Chi or Lyre Links. If you do not remember your username and/or password or you are having problems logging in to the website, use the “forgot password” prompts to help recover your login credentials. If you are still having issues, please email the volunteer inbox.

CAN I SEND SOMEONE ELSE IN MY PLACE?

Substitutions for chapter advisors and local house corporation volunteers can be made until July 1, 2023. Substitution requests can be emailed to volunteer@alphachiomega.org. Alpha Chi Omega will work with chapter advisors and LHC volunteers to determine the best substitute.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

Bring your energy and excitement, because we sure are! We hope that you’ll also bring great ideas and a willingness to share. There will be networking opportunities, so feel free to bring your business cards if you might like to share those with others!

WHAT SHOULD I PLAN TO WEAR?

Friday attire is snappy casual (like you are heading to a casual business meeting; jeans are appropriate). Saturday is badge attire/business casual (like you are dressing for a business meeting or professional conference). Sunday is letters/university day. We encourage you to wear your favorite Alpha Chi Omega or college/university attire! We will move between rooms throughout the weekend, so keep that in mind as you are choosing shoes.

Don’t forget to wear layers, too, as the hotel conference rooms may run cool!

DO I HAVE TO ATTEND THE ENTIRE TIME?

We ask that all invited volunteers attend each Volunteer Summit session throughout the weekend unless it is designated as an optional event.

CAN I REQUEST A ROOMMATE? ARE SINGLE ROOMS AVAILABLE?

Volunteer attendees will be able to share a roommate request when completing their event registration. We will do our best to accommodate your request. If you are interested in a single room, please email the volunteer inbox. We will do our best to accommodate your request as long as the hotel has available space. If you are booking a single room, you will be responsible for the additional cost per night ($189 plus taxes and fees).

WILL THERE BE VENDORS AT THE EVENT TO PURCHASE MERCHANDISE FROM?

Yes, officially licensed Alpha Chi Omega vendors will be at Volunteer Summit! You’ll have the opportunity to shop our vendors on Friday night and Saturday through lunch.

I NEED TO CANCEL MY REGISTRATION. WHAT DO I DO?

To cancel or transfer your registration, please email the volunteer inbox. Registration cancellations are not eligible for a refund.

Operational volunteers will not be charged a registration fee; however, should they need to cancel their registration, they will be responsible for a $199 cancellation fee. Each collegiate chapter will be charged the $199 registration fee for each chapter advisor. Each local house corporation volunteer will be charged the $199 registration fee for each president and treasurer. Alpha Chi Omega is not responsible for weather- or travel-related problems impacting attendance and will not refund registration fees for cancellations related to these issues. This does not apply to PSP house director registration.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I START SHOWING COVID-19 SYMPTOMS OR TEST POSITIVE THE WEEK OF VOLUNTEER SUMMIT?

Attendees exhibiting symptoms of or who have tested positive for COVID-19 should not travel to Indianapolis for this event. Please do not risk your own health and the health of others by doing so. Contact the volunteer inbox to notify staff of your need to cancel your registration.

What does Volunteer Summit cost and who covers that cost?

With support from the Foundation, the Fraternity and National Housing Corporation are covering much of the cost of attending Volunteer Summit, including meals (Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast and lunch, and Sunday breakfast) and hotel accommodations on Friday and Saturday nights. Operational volunteers also have their registration and travel covered. Volunteers' additional personal expenses and meals outside of those provided will not be reimbursed.
